Hello Stingray Parents!

Welcome to the summer 2026 season!

COMMUNICATION

All correspondence about our team will come in the form of an email via SwimTopia, including canceled practices and postponed meets. Please let us know if you would like a spouse, another family member or babysitter added to receive our messages.

Download the SwimTopia mobile app and allow push notifications to receive any ALERTS we may send about last minute changes or urgent issues. Parents who don’t have the app (or notifications enabled) will receive the alert as an email instead of a push notification. When the weather is iffy, please watch your phones or emails for alerts. If we do not send a message, practices and meets will happen as planned.

All parents included on the registration form were emailed instructions from SwimTopia about activating an account and creating a password.

TEAM SWIMSUITS and SWIM CAPS

Visit Team Store - Stonecrest Stingrays to view all our meet apparel options.

Swimsuits can be purchased online at any time. Be aware that order and delivery time can be 2-3 weeks. Order immediately to ensure arrival before our first meet. It is suggested orders be placed on or before Memorial Day.

Team Swim Caps can be purchased online at any time. Parents or swimmers should look for Heather or a coach at practice to pick up the cap.

PRACTICES

Night practices will run Monday to Friday, May 25th to June 10th, and morning practices will run Monday to Friday, June 11th to July 17th. Only swimmers and divers competing in Champs will practice Monday to Friday, July 21st to July 25th.

Little Rays practices will run Monday to Friday, June 15th to July 25th.

• No Practice: Monday, June 1, Friday June 19th (Photo Day), Friday, July 3
• Fun Fridays: June 12, June 26, July 10, and July 17

Breakdown for when your child/ren practice:

*Age groups are based on their age on May 31, 2026

**Dive practices are still being planned. Dive parents will be emailed Friday or over the weekend with the practice schedule. 

BABY POOL

Due to safety concerns when lifeguards are not on duty, the baby pool will be closed during swim practices and during swim meets. Swimmers and siblings are not allowed to use the baby pool even if a parent/adult is watching.

DIVE JUDGING TRAINING

We’re in need of more trained diving judges. It sounds intimidating but it is not.

Alburtis Area Community Pool has opened their dive judge training to help educate parents to be dive judges. Attendance at this training will qualify you to sign up for judging at our meets. Email Heather at [email protected] if you plan to attend.

STROKE & TURN JUDGING TRAINING

We’re in need of more trained Stroke and Turn judges. It sounds intimidating but it is not. Plus, you get the best view of the meet.

We will be training parents at our team’s time trials, June 10th. If interested, email Heather at [email protected]. I’ll send you a video to familiarize you with the job and prepare you for the training on June 10th.

ANNOUNCER
We're in need of an announcer for the home meet on July 7th. If interested email Heather at [email protected]. 

UPCOMING EVENTS

6/10/26 Time Trials 5:00-7:00 pm

Coaches will plan a time trial for all swimmers on 6/10. Swimmers should come for the entire practice time, 5:00-7:00 pm. Parents are asked to stay to assist with the time trials. This is an opportunity for all parents to observe the swimming portion of the meet and understand how the volunteering jobs are done, especially new families.

6/10/25 Parent Meeting 6:30 pm

After the time trial, we will have a meeting with parents to discuss our swim season, volunteer needs, meet volunteering expectations, share important dates, and to answer any questions.

6/19/26 Team Photo Day

Individual and team photos will be taken during our practice. Order details and exact timing coming soon.

7/26/26 End of Season Team Party

Pool party at Stonecrest to celebrate the end of our season. Approximately 5:00-9:00 pm. Exact time and details coming soon.
